Azita Ghanizada. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television shows. Her family fled Afghanistan and tried to seek for asylum in US. Her birthplace was there. She is the middle sister of two sisters, and was born in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career being featured in numerous National Commercials. The Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role of Chiara the performance of which she received an award for best actress at a film festival nomination. Some of her television roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include the role of a supporting character for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) - based on the science fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada made her debut in 2008 as a cast actor on General Hospital's primetime spinoff, General Hospital. For season two of Nightshift she played holistic specialist Dr. Saira Bastra.
